After spending 8 years as best friends, we decided to take the leap into the unknown of a relationship. We now share a home in Ohio, & are looking forward to the future of fork, knife, & spoonies. We both feel a strong calling to share our everyday's with others. There's a strength in being able to relate to the struggle of others, ya know? You start to realize you're not alone, & that probably much of what you feel has been experienced or felt by others in similar situations.

We often see commercials of others living their best lives with Crohn's or other autoimmune diseases, & while that may be true for some, it's not true for all. Unfortunately, we fall into the latter. It's been a real struggle. But we ALWAYS believe in & hope for the better tomorrow's, because there WILL be better tomorrow's. And we also try to make the best of today's.

But, more than anything, if there's anything we want you to know about us, it's that our hearts desire is to encourage & strengthen the Spoonie Community through shared stories, experiences, conversations, & thoughts. If you're here, we're so glad, & we hope that you find enough to make you smile, hopefully laugh, & most importantly, to let you know you're not alone in this life, or this struggle. We completely understand how hard it is, & how strong you are. Others around you may not see you, but we see you. And we hope that you see us too.
